Starting January 19, 2022, Mushie & Co. voluntarily recalled their FRIGG silicone pacifiers sold anytime between April 2021 through December 2021. The Houston-based company received eight reports about the nipple detaching, posing a choking hazard for our littles.
In addition, the manufacturer received about 200 reports of the issue outside the U.S. due to this defect. Though no injuries were reported yet, Mushie & Co. encourages you to take the proper actions to ensure your babies stay safe!
FRIGG Silicone Pacifier Recall: Classic and Daisy
The FRIGG silicone pacifier being recalled comes in two styles — Classic and Daisy. The Classic model pacifier consists of a silicone nipple with a round plastic shield, whereas the Daisy model has a silicone nipple with a round scalloped plastic shield. These pacifiers sold in two sizes (0-6 months and 6-18 months) and in over 40 colors.
Why Are They Being Recalled?
The silicone nipple base has a fine slit that can cause the nipple to detach from the shield. In other words, your baby can choke!
Where Were These Pacifiers Sold?
These pacifiers were sold in-store at places like SpearmintLOVE, TJ Maxx, Lil Tulips, Olivia & Jade Company stores nationwide. You may have also found them online at Mushie.com or Amazon.com and spent around $8 for one pacifier or $15 for two.
Steps To Take If You Have This Pacifier
First, immediately take the pacifier away from your baby!
Next, take some photos of both pieces of the pacifier. You’ll want photographs of the nipple and shield separated from each other for the proof.
Last, contact Mushie & Co. regarding the pacifier and you’ll receive a full refund for the defective items. Throw both pieces in the garbage after taking the photos you need for the refund. Use the info below to contact the supplier.
