Good News! Help is available for parents worried about the cost of child accessories and safety support items.
The Tuscarawas County Health Department offers an essential program aimed at providing parents with equipment for their children. In addition to curbside pick-up for support items, a Health Education team is available over the phone to answer questions and provide parent education.
Per the TCHD Safe Beginnings program page, “Families eligible for this program must have an income level within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. A family of four (including an unborn child) with a gross income (before taxes) at or below $52,400 annually, or $4,367 monthly would qualify.”
Additionally, participants cannot have an open or substantiated case of child abuse against them.
