Transportation: Now We’re Getting Somewhere

Sometimes we take getting around for granted, especially if your family owns a personal vehicle, but what can you do if you find yourself without transportation?

When you need to be somewhere in a pinch, it can be difficult to think clearly about all your options. Dear Stark Women provides community members with many different transportation options. With multiple resources available, you’re certain to find the right choice for you and your situation.

Transportation in Stark County

Not everyone has a personal vehicle, but you might know someone who does and would be willing to give you a ride to your appointment or destination.

Stark County has public transportation in the form of SARTA (Stak Area Regional Transit Authority) available.

A list of local area transportation services can be found on the Dear Stark Women website. This list is even organized by location.

Several ride-sharing options, such as Lyft or Uber, are available in Stark County.

Some care plans (such as United Healthcare and CareSource) have plans that provide eligible members with non-emergency transportation services to appointments.

You can find resources for transportation on the Dear Stark Women resource page. Additionally, the site provides links to addiction recovery, suicide and crisis lifelines, and drug habilitation information.
